Insurance Information
I am both private pay and an Out of Network (OON) provider for insurance. Many insurance plans have OON mental health benefits for reimbursement, so check your specific plan to see what is covered. I provide monthly superbills to those who wish to use this.
Please note, OON coverage is a form of reimbursement from your insurance company to you, and each session fee is due in full at the end of each session.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to request and receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of how much your mental health care will reasonably cost (click here for more information). Under this law, clinicians must provide a Good Faith Estimate especially to clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance to cover the charges for therapy. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule your first session.
Office Details
Located next to Gasworks Park in the south of Wallingford, my office has a spacious and comfortable waiting area with gender-neutral bathrooms. There is ample street parking, as well as cafes, restaurants, and other hangs in the immediate vicinity. For those with ADA-based needs or who cannot attend in-person, I offer telehealth therapy and am happy to accommodate however I can.
Walk and Talk Therapy
In the warmer months, I offer walk and talk therapy for those interested, which is exactly what it sounds like. Prefer to have therapy on the Burke-Gilman or overlooking Lake Union? That is always an option. Add some fresh air to therapy!
