A standard, 50-minute session is $180, and the initial intake session (60 minutes) is $200.
I do not have any sliding scale spots available at this time. Please check back in the future or reach out if this is something you are interested in.

I am an out of network (OON) provider, meaning I am not paneled, or “in network,” with insurance companies. However, many insurance plans have OON mental health benefits to see OON providers (like me).
Check with your specific plan and provider to see what your OON benefits include.
Some questions that might be helpful:
Verify mental health coverage for your plan
Check deductible and deductible dates
Reimbursement Percentage
Number of Sessions Max or Limit
Please note, OON coverage is a form of reimbursement from your insurance company to you, and each session fee is due in full at the end of each session.

Therapeutic fit (also known as Therapeutic Alliance) is one of the biggest predictors of positive therapy outcomes, and is also important for both scope of practice and style of therapy. In consultation, we will spend approximately 15-30 minutes discussing your goals and hopes for therapy, getting a sense of who I am as a therapist, and if we want to move forward with therapy.
-
I meet with clients on a weekly basis, as therapy is most effective at this frequency. Biweekly sessions can be made available to clients who have hit their goals for therapy and are ready to transition out.

There are a couple of options. Of course, you can submit superbills directly to your insurance company for the most streamlined approach.
Or, if you would like to use a third-party to handle this process for you, Thrizer can submit superbills and handle reimbursements in one step, for a small fee.
Please email me at james@naturapsychotherapy.com for any questions you might have around out of network benefits and I will try my best to answer them.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to request and receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of how much your mental health care will reasonably cost (click here for more information). Under this law, clinicians must provide a Good Faith Estimate especially to clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance to cover the charges for therapy. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule your first session.
